Equiventure Riding Academy is home to many up-and-coming riders from around the world. It's a place where every horse is just another person's dream of fame and glory and where every rider has a chance to be the best. It's a place set away from the rest of the world where problems lay around every turn with no solution in sight. To many it's home and it's exactly where they belong!
Equiventure Riding Academy... it's not just another adventure. It's the adventure for equestrians!
It's currently winter here in Montana and it's cold as hell. It seems like it's stopped snowing for the season though there might be a few more nights where an inch or two is laid down. Horses should be blanketed at all times, barns will be closed up tight at night, and everyone should dress warmly to avoid getting sick!
(Season will change in March!)

Today I've updated the site some with the help of Muffin, we're very excited to have just finished the first show on the site and I've decided that EV's new skin is officially done with the adjustments to the member group colors. The show results are now visible to the public and all the show records have been updated. We'd also love to hear what you think we could do to improve how we do shows or anything else on the site. If you have an opinion please PM the EVENT ACCOUNT with that!
This board is where you'll find it all. The plot information on the site, rules and consequences for breaking them, information on the different member groups and other information dealing with how the site works.
Before you can do anything on the site you need to make your character. Now we have provided a form for you and we do expect you to use it and not to change it. A staff member will check it over and decide if it's acceptable or not.
All announcements concerning the site will be posted here. This includes those for OOC events and IC events. Anything posted here will be at least important enough staff thought you should know about it so we'd suggest you check here and stay in the loop.
This is where all communication will be held. This includes phone calls, texts, and emails. Before you can post here you need to have posted on the claim thread for phone numbers, email, and screen-names!
This board is for the personal things for characters. Photo albums and diaries. You can keep records for your character in here or whatever you want. Since they are personal do not post on another persons thread.
Here is where you can post your characters plot and others can reply. It's a great way to make and document who's friends with who and so on. If you don't want to make your own plot we've provided some and there's also a board where you can post what you want for a plot.
Inside the main building there are three floors. On the first floor there are classrooms, the headmasters office, and the cafeteria. The second floor is where all the teachers for the school reside and where the staff lounge is located. The third floor is reserved for the headmaster and their family. The main building sits on a small slope that over looks the driveway to the front and the rest of the academy grounds to the back.
These are the girls dorms. There are three levels of rooms. Most girls will have to share a room with another roommate but those who pay the extra cash can get a room of their own. The largest room on the first floor is reserved for the female “big sister”.
The boys dorms are much like the girls dorms. Three floors with rooms, most boys will be forced to share a room with another boy but those who pay extra will get a room of their own. Largest room on the first floor is reserved for the schools “big brother”.
The barns are large and spacious and well kept by the schools grooms. Each student is required to take care of their own horse by grooming them and turning them out and bringing them in. Grooms take care of the feeding and mucking out the barns. Students are also required to keep the tack-room cleaned up.
The staff barns are large and spacious. The grooms also feed and clean up the barn though staff are required to groom their own horses and turn them out and bring them in. The staff are also required to keep their tack cleaned up. Students are forbidden from entering this barn unless given permission by a staff member.
These are the riding areas on the farm. They spread out over the entire farm and from the rings to the trails they are taken care of. Most trails are cleared of any dangers though from time to time hazards appear and are not taken care of right away. It is advised that people do not ride alone but of course being at a competitive riding school this advise is usually ignored.
These are the pastures on the farm. There are smaller pastures for horses who are injured or who need to be turned out on their own, slightly larger pastures for just a few horses or the stallions and extremely large pastures where five or six horses are turned out together if they get along with one another. The horses are monitored in the pasture the first few times they're turned out and if they get hurt a trainer adjusts the turnout plans to fix whatever the problem is.
These local restaurants are popular among the people who live and work here. They might not always be cheap but they're always here and a fun place to go to get a bite to eat or just hang out with friends and dish the dirt over snacks.
This is the advertising board. Inside there are three sub-boards for you to post in. Make sure that you're posting in the correct place and following our rules. Thanks!
This is our general member area where you can hang out and do random shit while you wait for replies or while you wait to get some muse so you can post.
This is where all suggestions should be posted. If you've got an idea for the site and you'd like someone to hear about it post it here and a staff member will look at it when they can.
This is the staff board. Here's where we hide all of our secrets from you members. This includes upcoming events we're working on and stuff we just need to know in general for the site. Oh and we hold our own private parties here, sorry.
